Blue Protocol, my beloved. In 2022, I worked on the main campaign for Amazon’s new project that they had ported over from the East called Blue Protocol. I quickly fell in love with the ActionRPG elements and complex time-travel worldbuilding and eventually began to capture material for it’s release here in the West.
Blue Protocol was originally developed by Bandai Namco and was slated to launch in the United States with Amazon as its publisher. I was the director (and sometimes codirector) of these assets and was the primary source of information for this title. My greatest regret is that I wasn’t able to play this game on my own time! It was absolutely fantastic: story-rich, well-paced action, and fantastic visuals. The Reveal Trailer was my first ‘World Premiere’ trailer and I got to watch TGA’s reaction live!
Now, Blue Protocol has been converted into what is currently on the Steam Store: Blue Protocol: Star Resonance. After some handovers, this is a completely different game than what I knew, but I will forever love my time with the characters of Asterliese!
